Both Marc Wallach and Kenneth Robinson studied their Wing Chun under Nino Bernardo at the infamous word-of-mouth London kung fu school ‘The Basement’, where nino developed a reputation as one of Europe's most skillful and influential Wing Chun teachers. Nino was one of a handful of students to learn the whole system of Wing Chun from legendary martial artist Wong Sheung Leung in Hong Kong in the 1970s, who in turn studied under Yip Man himself. Nino Bernardo and colleagues from The BasementNino Bernardo presents three seminars a year in London, details of which are regularly updated on his site. These seminars are open to all comers. Nino also runs the Ibiza Kwoon, an alternative kung fu school in a beautiful setting on the Mediterranean island of the same name.
